SMITH – 553 Church Street

An ever-increasing institution in the Church-Wellesley village, this classic brunch spot serve up physics-defining fluffy pancakes in a beautifully-designed setting. Topped with whipped cream, a strawberry syrup and a subtle graham crumble, you’ll do well to finish this gargantuan plate of sublime food.

Mildred’s Temple Kitchen – 85 Hanna Avenue

Everyone has their own list of quality pancake locales, but there are few who would exclude the now-famous pancakes from this Liberty Village haunt. No table order is complete without the thick delicacy infused with blueberry and buttermilk. Ideal for the warmer climes when their patio section brings in people from across the city.

Aunties and Uncles – 74 Lippincott Street

Nestled just north of the trendy Kensington Market, this boutique establishment offers a filling and scrumptious banana oatmeal pancakes. An ideal vegan option, you’ll feel as healthy as you will replenished after visiting these delightful brunch specialists.

School – 70 Fraser Avenue

Okay, so they call them flapjacks in this Liberty village mainstay, but don’t be fooled – these are pancakes in the purest sense of the word. The self-proclaimed ‘stacked high’ with black and blueberry sauce, brown sugar butter, real whipped cream and pure maple syrup, and I don’t we need to give many more reasons to try them out (but the décor is amazing!)
