Our 3 Favourite Dog Parks in Toronto

You’ve heard of people-watching, but what about pup-watching!? Need an ideal spot to take your best good boy for a leisurely stroll, or simply want to give all the pats to a legion of furry new friends? We’ve often wondered where the best dog parks in the city are, so we’ve chosen three of our favourite locations for you to bask in canine bliss.

Trinity Bellwoods Park

A mainstay of downtown dog owners, this Queen/Dundas locale sports an expansive leash-optional pit in the centre of the park. There are few centrally-located spots better for your pets to stretch out their legs and mingle with other great dogs. People and pups of all ages and sizes are welcome to soak in the happy care-free atmosphere that this park does best.

Wychwood Barns

Feel more like exploring your local neighbourhood? This convenient and delightful dog park is located in the heart of St. Clair West. Walk over with the family and enjoy the rest of the park playing beach volleyball or even finish the day out at the Wychwood Barns Farmer’s Market! This little gem is definitely a local dog park favourite!

High Park

We’d be remiss what to mention Toronto’s largest inner-city park, boasting many off-leash walks immersed with streams, woods and much more! The always-busy Dog Hill with its dog fountain, benches and great company – human and canine – is an excellent recipe for an afternoon of fresh air, wanderlust as well as tired-but-grateful pets.
